Peshawar University Student Sent to Jail Due to Refusing to Accept Degree From Governor of KPK
No Right of Freedom of Expression
Every student has his/her own beautiful memories about day of university convocation, but these are not that beautiful for a student of famous Pakistani University, Peshawar University. In convocation of Peshawar University one student sent to jail just due to expressing his feelings. When student of Peshawar University came to stage he refused to take degree from Governor KPK, Iqbla Zafar Jhagra. Student of Peshawar University refused to take degree from representative of Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PMLN) and said he will not take degree from representative of corrupt government of Pakistan and representative of corrupt prime minister of Pakistan Nawaz Sharif.
Peshawar University Student Arrested
When he rejected to accept the degree he was sent back. Although his fellow students appreciated him by clapping but Peshawar University administration was thinking something else. Administration of Peshawar University arrested student of Peshawar University who refused to take degree from Governor KPK. Peshawar University administration sent him to an unknown place and still there is no news about release of Peshawar University Student. This is a clear act against freedom of speech and freedom of expression in Pakistan and KPK.
